Please let him be ok...

What do you do when you see someone you love so much is in pain... And there is not much that you can do for him...

My dearest dog, Max was hit by a car yesterday. He was so in pain that he unconsciously bit my finger... His act showed how painful he was because he would never hurt us purposely... The hardest thing was to find a vet clinic on a Hari Raya early in the morning. We called vets and asked around until someone gave us a number to a doc in Bandar Puteri. I thanked god that he agreed to come and treated Max eventhough his clinic was not open...

Max's pelvic bone was fractured... How serious is it depends on whether the bone injured other organs... He was left at the clinic for one night for observation... My heart break knowing that Max was gonna be very lonely because he is afraid of new places and surroundings. My family and I prayed that there will be no complications at all...

Today morning, we went to the clinic as soon as it opens. According to the doc, he is gonna be fine. He just needs alot of rest to heal...When we finally got to see Max, my heart broke again... His eyes were watery and swollen as if he had been crying the whole night. When he saw us, he tried to walk to us eventhough that caused him pain. We brought him home and been nursing and accompanying him...

Max is an active dog and he is not used to being confined to a small area... But we had no choice because he must not walk much to recover. We are still observing him for any abnormalities. I hope and pray really hard that Max will recover and he will live with us for a very long time...
