He is really the man... His dedication, determination, passion and talent is really beyond compare... As i watched the movie 'This is it', i was in tears... It wasn't sad... No, it wasn't... If anything, it was inspiring... Really full of energy and you will just grew to admire that legend icon even more... But, knowing that those were his last moments, knowing that all his hard work and he never got to perform his last concert, well that makes any fans of MJ feels sad..
MJ was about the same age as my dad and i really can't imagine my dad dancing the way he did during his rehearsals... The stamina and the discipline was amazing... Throughout the movie, you got the chance to see the secret behind MJ's amazing concerts... He really made sure everything was nothing but perfect... He supervised everything ~ music, choreography, the band...
If you like MJ at all, then you should really watch the movie... No matter all the scandals and stuff, he is still a legend and truly a king of pop... He is my idol..

If you realize, when an artist die they instantly sell all records be it old or new.
Its like suddenly the whole world cares about MJ. Is he really that great? For his era, YES! But the world keeps spinning and he is just another human that has to die. His talents for his time was amazing but in this present, many are comparable.
So the whole point is, Don't COMPARE people. Everyone is great in their own way. And I certainly hope that you know you are great in your own way too.
I dunno about u... But i grew up listening to his songs... He was the 1st artist that i admired since i was a little gal... So to me, he was great then and still was right before he passed away...
I grew up listening to his songs too. They play it so often on TVs and radios. I like his songs too. But I guess I never 'idolize' anyone bcos I think it makes me look weak or perhaps an idiot.
I really do think when we look highly upon others its just not fair for them bcos it somehow gives them pressure. They are humans anyway. And at the same time we make ourselves so much smaller when we ARE already small. Unless of cos u idolize them and try incorporate their positive traits.
