Day One in Ping 'An

Finally came back from Guilin, China... The weather was hot and dry... I actually got headache from walking under the sun... Suddenly became "puteri lilin" already... =.="

Anyway i'm never good at telling stories... So i will try to remember as much as possible and as for the rest... Let the pictures do the narrating... ;)

My flight from KL to Guilin was about 6:00+ in the morning... So we actually left house around 3am to LCCT.. Once we reached Guilin Airport, we had to go thru the health check which was pretty scary cos i was having slight flu due to lack of sleep (didn't sleep much at nite b4 the journey) But thankfully my temperature didn't rise.. Then we took a shuttle bus to Guilin town and caught a bus to He Pin to go to the rice terrace.. The bus journey to there was about 3hrs and quite terrible cos the seat was so small and they tried to squeeze in as many ppl as possible into the bus =.=

From He Pin, we took a mini van up to Ping 'An (the village at the rice terrace)...

This is the long hair tribe's village... They have really long hair but unfortunately they tied their hair up when we were there...

Some of the tribe members...

This is Ping 'An

This is the view from my room... We stayed in Li Qing 2 Hotel... Very comfortable and unique...

The tribe's women earn their living by carrying tourists' bags...
