My dear old friend, Derek came all the way to UPM to visit me yesterday... As all my roommates knew, i was super super excited because i haven't seen him for so long already... He really didn't know the way and rely fully on his gprs... And i was happy.. Really happy to see him again.. The last time i saw him was actually after MCR concert which was like probably a year ago... I brought him around, proudly introducing him to all my friends in uni and happy to see he can mix well with my close friends..
I also brought him to my Linear Algebra class so that he can see how UPM is like... I feel abit bad cos we were sitting quite behind so we couldn't really see the board clearly... I feel very 'paiseh' because eventhough i'm a stats major student, i couldn't understand what was on the slides... But he understand right away... That's the big difference between UPM and Cambridge students.. =.=

Basically i tried to let him see what and how's my life is like in UPM...
His visit, though is short, has a big impact on me.. Because as long as i hold on to that memory, i can still smile.. If it fades from me, an image will appear, something i'm trying hard to forget... And the smile will be gone...

hey Joanne...thanks so much for the post! I never thought of myself as someone who would make any difference like that to anyone. And thanks so much for showing me around and introducing your friends to me. You were fantastic! I hope we will see each other again soon :)
