Hangzhou - Tunxi - Huangshan (3)

On the 2/5, we took a bus back from Suzhou to Hangzhou. We reached in the evening and went back to stay at the Tour'An Hostel. That day was a dumpling day (or something like that), so the guests sat around a small table and do dumplings. After that, we got one bowl of dumplings each.

On the 9th day, my elder sis was supposed to go back at 11pm . So we explored alittle bit around the Westlake and did some last minute shopping.

We rest in Hangzhou for 2 days before going to Tunxi on Monday 5/5. We stayed in Koala International Youth Hostel. The next day, bout 6am, a van picked us up from the hostel to the foot of Huangshan. Huangshan is supposed to be one of the nicest mountain in China. The mountain is full of history but of cos, i didn't understand. We stayed up on the mountain for a night cos we wanna catch the sunset and sunrise. My mum and I carried food and big bottles of water cos things up there were really expensive. Something that cost 2yuan would cost bout 10yuan up there.

Koala Hostel
The lock supposed to symbolise locking ur love... Means u and ur partner will remains together forever...
A very nice tree...
That is how ppl transport things like bedsheets, food, building materials, etc. up...

I followed 3 europeans climb up a mountain to watch sunset... It was one of my nicest yet scariest experience cos we were at the very edge of the cliff to avoid other crowds...
The mountains as the sun bout to set...

Supposed to see sunrise... But as can be seen, there were too many ppl that i could hardly see anything... Disappointed...

The mountains early in the morning..

One of our route while climbing up and down the mountain....

Huangshan is not as high as Mt. Kinabalu. But to explore the mountain is really tiring cos we have to climb up one peak then climb down to climb another one and so on. There's no shortcut if you want to go down. Unless you pay ppl to carry you on the sedan chairs. But it was worth it. The scenery is breathtaking. That's why Huangshan is a destination that you must go ONCE...

to be continued ~~~> :P
