Suzhou - Tongli (2)

On the 5th day,29/4 ~ We left Shanghai to go Suzhou. We took their bullet train but had to stand in the train cos the tickets were all sold out as it was getting close to China's Labour Day. We stayed in Suzhou Watertown International Youth Hostel. I met the most adorable dog there. His character is exactly like Max. He only likes to eat and sleep. When he wants food from you, he will sit up obediently or put his paw on your hand. When we want to visit our 1st garden in Suzhou, 'The Lingering Garden', we met 3 friendly and pretty China gals who sort of become our tour guide and helped us to move around Suzhou.

Train to Suzhou... had to stand throughout the journey... thank god it was just bout 45mins

The next day, my sister and I went to the Humble Administrator's Garden. It was much nicer and bigger than the Lingering Garden. And more expensive too. =_=

On the 7th day, we took a bus in the morning to Tongli. It is a water village near Suzhou. It's also known as Venice of Asia... The place was nice and well... surrounded by small streams.... They also had boat rides just like the gondolas in Venice... but we didn't try it cos we were rushing to take a bus back to Suzhou in the eveining. It was 1st of may, so it was very VERY crowded. Kinda spoilt my mood.

there's a one-of-a-kind sex museum in Tongli... Unfortunately, i didn't go in... =P

The olden days costumes... I looked so damn tired... =_=

It was amusing watching the person in the ball trying to move the ball or even stand up...

When we got back that nite, we made friends with 2 gals who are studying in Shanghai. They were really friendly and at the same time curious about Malaysia. So we chatted till quite late. They were really sweet... They offered us their strawberries and small tomatoes eventhough they wanted to eat them too. In the end, we share share... =D

The guy beside my sis is Andy Lau... the other one is his cousin... Can't rememba which province they are from...
